I'm confused by the responses about employment contracts because I literally can't think of Uber's contracts as employment contracts. The entire purpose of those contracts is to identify drivers as _not employees_. It's much more like an EULA or TOS, which are almost always complete gibberish that doesn't hold up in court indeed (at least in EU courts that is).
