Now you understand. You feel defensive. As if you have to apologise. That's how mental illness is operationalised. That's the lever of power.

- johncolanduoni 10y agoI don't feel defensive because I've possibly argued against a mentally ill person at all, since I don't think that's wrong (I'm also super circumspect that you are mentally ill). Seriously, do you just have your side of the conversation written down somewhere and refuse to deviate from the script?
- redsummer 10y agoYou're a little dense. Of course I'm not mentally ill. You said, "I don't think you have to worry about mentally ill people gaining power from it." I said I was mentally ill, to prove that you would feel defensive. And show how mental illness is used to gain power - contra to your statement. And you responded exactly as expected. As if from a script. Feeling defensive. It's a bit pointless for you to argue with someone when you prove their own points with your responses.
