This may or may not be a Good Thing - I'm not qualified to make that call. But this article isn't doing the effort any favors. Labelling the technology _exclusively_ as "fusion" comes dangerously close to what's today called "fake news." I understand from other peoples' comments that the project aims to commercialize some kind of fission-fusion hybrid technology where fission reactions kick-start fusion reactions. That's (potentially) cool, but I'd have expected the article to tell me this.
