Canonical ”raised" like 20 million USD to create a converged phone but the "community/market didn't want it"?
- wmf 10y agoIf the cost to build a viable mobile OS is more like $100M, maybe the market didn't want it badly enough.
- joshlemer 10y agoThat was $12 million, and that was in 2013, and if I understand correctly how indiegogo works, they didn't get to claim any of that money because they didn't reach their goal of $30 million
