  Not stock prices, if you trust even the weak efficient market hypothesis. But stock returns sure do.

  I bought some at $10. I made money, but I would have made a ton more if I'd bought in at $0.10.

Not true. You can still make good money working as a software developer, and the media has already discovered it. (But perhaps, it's not interesting?)
