- ge96 10y agoThis is contradictory too, can I afford a $5,000 license haha. But that's something I'd like to be able to use in the future as I'm also interested in mechanical engineering/prototyping. I mean visual representations something like SketchUp is great, free easy to use. My friend has a 3D printer and can produce STL files. I've used SolidWorks before. Yeah I don't know, I'm just rambling excuse me. I've heard of Warez. I'm also aware of free options like FreeCAD which I loaded on Ubuntu, pretty cool.
