Garadget does not deserve to be in business. If you are a B2C company specializing in security IoT, you don't have the right to disable your clients hardware as you see fit...Garadget have engineered a common product, but they know little about business...
- morganvachon 10y agoIndeed, could you imagine the uproar if ADT (a traditional, remote monitoring security company in the US) were to lock a customer out of their own house because of a bad review? This is no different and is downright suicidal of Garadget. Even if this is the action of a single bad employee, so far the company has not stepped up to remedy the situation, and given it's a crowdfunded business out of nowhere, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that the bad employee in question is a founder of the company. If that's the case, it's rotten to the core.
