Client isn't "bad". They are a customer not a client, the relationship is so very different, you can't just fire a customer or tell them to go away, especially not if you're selling your product on Amazon where people have an expectation of quality.
- dozzie 10y ago> They are a customer not a client, the relationship is so very different Mind you, for many non-native English speakers this is very subtle, non-obvious difference. In my language, for instance, we don't have separate words for clients and customers.
- umanwizard 10y agoI'm a reasonably literate native English speaker and I don't understand what the (supposed) difference is.
- slededit 10y agoThe relationship with a client is closer. Generally speaking the work is more bespoke and the level of trust between parties is higher. You see this when the product is not standardized. A customer on the other hand is anonymous and you're relationship with them will generally end after the original sale.
