The people who are already two decades into a Jeremy Kyle binge-watch will likely not change their behaviour even under a UBI scheme, but at least their kids would have a chance to do something with themselves rather than continue the generational unemployment. I think it's important for us t acknowledge that UBI won't solve every existing problem, and nor should it, but it could set up the coming generations for a much more productive and happier world.
