Both assertions are true: AngularJS (1.x) is supported and in use and Angular (2+) hasn't yet acquired enough traction, but when someone's about to choose a framework (hence potentially using your document to compare between several options) there will never be a case where they should choose AngularJS (1.x) for a new project.
