Most people aren't willing to do the actual act that takes away the meat for trolls: delete and start a new identity without association with the old one. I changed my IRC identity dozens of times when assholes decided they wanted to make me miserable, the solution is to be the person who walks away without looking back. Just pick a new name in a new place, and invite your friends.
