  That can be solved by making the diameter of the torus large enough that the difference in acceleration between head and feet is not too high.

    For 1g, the diameter of the spaceship would be a kilometer or more to seem normal. Possible, but it'll be beyond our means for quite a while.

      Right. When I said "easy", I meant "easy relative to producing some ungodly strong magnetic field to do the job".
