Indeed. I consider myself to be a curmudgeonly old man and even I don't understand why all the other curmudgeons seem to have got out their pitchforks over this. Granted, I only skimmed the article and read in detail the parts that were most interesting to me, but I thought it was decent. Certainly, as an introduction - something to whet the appetite and spark interest on a subject in someone who knows nothing about it - I thought it did a great job, and I liked the fact the author has bothered to link to other resources if you want to take things further. Sure, the writing style isn't going to be to everyone's taste, but, whatever.
