I've known a lot of women to stop taking hormonal birth control because of the side effects. Everything you stated are definitely the potential positive effects of hormonal birth control, but it certainty isn't the actual experience for a lot of women. I'm male and would gladly to take a birth control that doesn't effect me on a hormonal level, especially if it meant my partner could could stop taking a hormonal birth control. Also just of respect of sharing the burden, sounds like it would be way easier to have this injected into my vas deferens and last 13+ years then to have to remember to take a pill every day.
