What is everyone using curl for that it needs to be written in C (or Rust?). If it think about my usage, it's like get or post something and see what the returned json looks like. If I need to download something wget usually works without having to remember -O. But higher level things like httpie are easier to deal with, sane defaults and all that. Maybe they use libcurl... Are there any re-write userland in ${safe-high-level-lang} projects?
