Do you have any alternative possible explanations for what is causing the temperature rise? And what do you think of the ones that have been proposed, like increased solar radiation?
- bkirkby 10y agoi do not. as i pointed out, it's a classic complex mechanism that might not be able to be attributable to one single factor. i guess i'm also not convinced that the warming of the past 150 - 200 years is out of the range of normal variation (esp. with the latest warming pause) when looking at geologic times. i know it's a difficult thing to prove since constructing geologic GLOBAL temperature is very difficult, but i just don't know. it does seem like the increase of carbon in the atmosphere is abnormal, if not entirely unprecedented.
