Having dabbled in a bit of computer vision for a personal project, I saw how powerful it was and knew how important GPUs would be to cv/machine learning/AI at scale. Invested in NVIDIA late 2015, more than doubled the money so far.
If I didn't know programming, I would be clueless as to what computer vision could achieve, and thus its potential impact on society.
