The old one and the newer two are about understanding foreign cultures. The old one was about a particular country while the newer ones are focused on vibrant major cities. I know if I focused on tourism, I'd get more of an audience but since I blog for pleasure (and like digging into national identity, urban planning, historical changes and the arts), I prefer to produce content that interests me rather than write for clicks. I also wonder about the same things (re:last two lines you wrote). I'd love to make a podcast, like 99% Invisible, but who wouldn't?
