Exactly what I'm thinking. Who would give Symantec money? I can't imagine the type of business that would pay them for security.
- technion 10y agoThe irony is everything I've been hearing was that Symantec was on their way back to recovery as a company after somehow selling off the woefully under-performing Backup Exec line in order to focus on the security market. Which really is SEP and their SSL lines.
- jupp0r 10y agoSadly, security is often reduced to compliance. Nobody ever got fired for buying IBM ....
