GameStop expects the Switch to be hard to find through 2017
- senior_james 10y agoThis is Nintendo's strategy: intentionally have a shortage of Switches, the desire grows exponential because there is something about wanting to have something exclusive. People get on waiting lists and buy other Nintendo products. They also end up getting the switch. When the Wii first came out, they did this too. All of my coworkers all had to have one. I think they ended up getting an Xbox a few months after they got bored playing boxing and Zelda.
