If I want to use one, then let me choose the one I want. A UI framework shouldn't come with it's own container it makes no sense. If this UI framework is too complicated to boostrap manually then it's too complicated at first place. To make things clear I actually liked Angular 1 since it allows people to easily upgrade from jQuery and raw DOM.
