Yes, I'd do that as I don't care about a printed version and kinda feel like cheating when downloading the free pdf. It's a great idea, very well pulled off!

  I think there should definitely be a free version at least until it gets established. I simply wanted to check what it is about without any commitments including the hassle to go through a payment processor.

    I think that "pay as you want" means that you can pay if you want, or you can just take it for free.

      Exactly! Just keep it free but offer the possibility to donate for everybody not ordering the print version.
