Ask HN: Where to look? Seeking C++/QtQML instruction or a tutor

I'm a web developer trying to get started with desktop GUI application building, and I'm looking to get quickly familiar with integrating C++ and Qt's QML UI. Can anyone recommend better/more accessible to beginners learning resources than Qt's docs? Does anyone know where I should seek a paid tutor if better static resources don't exist? Thanks in advance!
