As a young researcher, you need the publications when you apply for academic positions. High-tier venue publications are easily recognized as such. To recognize high-quality work published in a low-tier venue, the only metric is citations. Accumulating citations takes a long time (you might not have) and is helped by active marketing (you might not do). This is more about quick-polishing your image than your ego. ;)
