bcache originally supported discard/TRIM commands (toggled by mount options), but taking a quick look it might have been removed in bcachefs during the progress of development. I imagine ultimately TRIM will be supported, though (I don't see a reason why it wouldn't be, and considering Kent is focused on hammering out the design I imagine it'll inevitably fit in well).
