Technically speaking, in the US, ripping a DVD is still considered illegal under the DMCA, so don't expect Apple to do you any favors there.
Personally, I use Plex running on a headless Linux box instead.
- mixmastamyk 10y agoThere are many other use cases to copying files. For example a few days ago I wanted to copy a pdf of my resume to my phone and had to install an app to do it. Not acceptable.
