Apple Maps?? The competition is so much better. For offline navigation in car: HERE WeGo (maps.me also works, but HERE WeGo is way better). For offline navigation on foot in cities: maps.me (also HERE WeGo works, but I think maps.me UI is better for this). For offline open street maps suitable for offroad: Pocket Earth (works particularly well in Europe). For offline maps in general suitable for offroad: Gaia GPS or the lower cost Topo Maps (works particularly well in USA). And if you are into serious off-trailing Gaia GPS (and probably Topo Maps too) allow you to use your own maps as well.
