What were the pros and cons of that design?
- rbanffy 10y agoI never programmed for one myself, but I imagine that it's a very alien world if you see everything as a single vast address space of persistent objects. I imagine layers of software would make it less strange in order to facilitate porting programs to the platform - I remember IBM ported Node.js to it, so, there must be a way to see it as a more traditional machine.
