Personally, grammatical mistakes like this have always bothered me, but most people don't even realize it's wrong. So it's odd to think that this would have an effect on the populace at large. Perhaps this site caters to an overly literate part of the diabetes-suffering population? I guess those who are technically inclined tend to be more educated.
