So who owns the air that you breathe?
- clouddrover 10y agoThe Universe, man. As I consume resources in the process of maintaining a highly ordered state for the duration of my lifetime, I cause an increase in the overall level of entropy in the universe and hurry along the heat death of everything. Nothing is free. Everything has a cost.
- qplex 10y agoLife does not take the shortest route to entropy. The original point of the parent was obviously cost as in money. My point was that "only expending your own resources" as in "you need to pay for your resources (with your own money) before you can morally do thing x" is rather problematic.
