- tmccrmck 10y agoIt also doesn't care about file type. If you want to copy a malformed file dd will do it - cat won't.
- pwdisswordfish 10y agocat doesn't care about file type either.

- lokedhs 10y agoTry it on a tape device with the wrong value for bs and you might corrupt the output as a result.
