How technically difficult would it be to make a browser extension that detects and pauses videos and gifs that might cause a seizure? Are the conditions that cause seizures pretty well known so that something specific can be detected?
- 15155 10y agoVideos - disable autoplay. GIFs - adblock them? as far as detection goes - you could detect vast color shifts at high frequencies.
- bassman9000 10y agoTwitter doesn't play them if you don't want to. He stated that happened to him before. And still didn't disable autoplay. No case.
