I heard people say this and thought it was a bit short sited, but the value proposition is actually quite good. I've heard from most friends they have clocked around 70 hours playtime, and the cost of a Switch here is 249 + 50 (Zelda) making it around £4.40 per hour of play. Not bad. And Zelda isn't the only thing I will be playing.

- alanfalcon 10y agoOf course there are even better value propositions out there in gaming. I've got well over 100 hours in (seriously fun) Crashlands gameplay, and I paid a grand total of $20 for that ($5 for mobile, $15 for the cross-save-compatible Steam/PC version). I'm also 70 (maybe somewhat less fun overall) hours into Stardew Valley, which cost me less than $15.
