That's an excellent idea. As a devoted 1.0 user I really wouldn't feel comfortable taking 2.0 for free.

- dedward 16y agoAs a person who paid money I earned for a good product, including the promise of a free upgrade to 2.0 whenever it came out - I would not share your feelings on the matter. (This does not mean I have any expectations as to when 2.0 is coming out, or what 2.0 means, or anything like that... I love Textmate, and have purchased several licenses.)
