Could the more modern games my generation grew up with be more immersive, having a larger effect on mental development?
- flukus 10y agoI think you're underestimating just how immersive those older games could be. Immersiveness is not a product of graphical fidelity, look at books and text adventure games, I would consider them just as immersive as any games today. We were saying "just one more turn" just as much with civ1 as with civ6.
