- SlipperySlope 10y agoOMG And where I live in South Austin I get between 500 megabits and 1 million megabit download and upload speeds. The most amazing thing is that Google TV with 200 channels is mostly and totally uncompressed. Equal in quality to the over-the-air UHF HD from my local broadcast stations well lit studio news shows. Go to the Google Fiber headquarters in downtown Austin and you can see the quality on an upscaled 4K TV - awesome so very awesome! Time Warner and AT&T - never going back! So sorry, so really very sorry rest of the country doesn't have this Choice - yay for Google.
