Take the bag, fall in love, and do something worth staying around for. Have children, invest in singularity-inducing tech, fight pirates on the open seas. You'd be surprised how powerful the urge to live, despite daily I-can't-take-this-anymore frustrations, is when you've got a child's life to look forward to.

I don't think any woman in the world would date a guy with a colostomy bag. So by taking one I am committing myself to a life of loneliness and pain (crones hurts like hell).

  My cousin has had a colostomy bag for the past four years. He is not attractive. He is not wealthy. He met a loving girl two years ago and they are now engaged. It can happen.

  I think you're looking at woman as they where a computer. There is no logic, there are feelings. I know it's pretty hard to explain, but look around you. I know quite a few normal guys, better looking then me who never have girlfriends, not because they don't want but just because. Trust me on this one, it's not logical, but hey, love just isn't...

Everyone has - most people get the chance to realise they were foolish. Out there somewhere, right now, there is someone who is already there, and who would be glad to be able to show you whatever it is they know and you don't. Go find that person. Speak to someone who knows from experience. You have all the time in the world for your project once you've found that person.
