It doesn't take a genius to see that Europe is in a deflationary spiral right now, with Greece and Portugal leading the way. Why would you want to bet 30% of your portfolio against the trend of Euro/Dollar weakness?
- 300baud 16y agoBeing able to see the future isn't enough for a financial bet. You have to be able to see the future before other people with money. If something is sufficiently obvious, it will already be priced into the market. In other words, a financial trade isn't a bet on your insight. It's a bet that your insight is sharper than the person on the other side of the trade.
