I don't think it's about the price of fuel per kWh it's about the waste generated per kWh.
- Gibbon1 10y agoI don't think waste is the biggest cost with nuclear power. At least over the short run of 50 years. I remember some figure that coal fired plants cost about half as much to build as nuclear plants. I could be wrong. But if true there might not be that much fat to cut out of nuke designs in general.
