Huh? Even BIP-101, the original Bitcoin XT BIP to have forever increasing block size, mentioned this as a risk [1]. It argues that the effect is insignificant, but I would hardly call it watertight.

- zik 10y agoLike I said, no realistic mechanism. The effect is so small as to be insignificant, and even more so now than in the Bitcoin XT days.
