Does anyone know of a scraper with a simple UI that's usable by less technical people? Similar to Kimono (bought by Palantir and shut down). https://techcrunc

- jusob 10y agoI have tried https://dexi.io/ https://dexi.io/ (free account) about a year ago and it looks very good. One downside is that it was issuing requests from Europe by default, so you had to bring your own proxy for the US, for example.

- bijection 10y agoWhat output are you looking for? IIRC, Kimono was about creating REST apis — are those sufficiently non technical?

- Nimsical 10y agoI tend to tell this to people quite often, but depending on the use-case – it might actually make sense to use something like Mechanical Turk to get complicated scraping done. But if the content is pretty neatly and easily scraped then the other recommendations make sense. Though a bit of Javascript can now take you a long way ;)
- wenbert 10y agoNot sure what the UI of kimono looked like but with this one, you can more or less create one for it if you wanted to. (or ask someone to do it)
