Ozan and Myles also teach this stuff in-person in SF: http://bradfieldcs.com/ http://bradfieldcs.com/.
I just finished their databases course and it was excellent.
- jbenn 10y agoMe too - I took their Computer Architecture course and really enjoyed it. Would recommend.
- felix2feng 10y agoI took their Databases course and currently taking the APIs one. Highly recommended!
- gingerbread-man 10y agoHow much is the tuition for their courses?
- felix2feng 10y agoYou can find it on their site - bradfieldcs.com
- jbenn 10y ago$1,800 per course.
- d4mi3n 10y agoCan't say enough good things about Myles. I had a similarly good experience with him via Bradfield. Myles did a Clojure course for my colleagues and it went remarkably well, especially given that none of us had really done much work in a functional language before.
- bogomipz 10y agoThe blog is good reading, amongst interesting technical insight and commentary you have wonderfully humous passages such as" >"Everyone “has been meaning to” learn Rust or Go or Clojure over a weekend, not C. There isn’t even a cute C animal in C’s non-logo on a C decal not stuck to your laptop." Brilliant.
