I've often found that my motivation to work on something decreases if I'm being paid to do it. Side projects are often much more fun and energizing than your day job. Hope you feel the same!
- kentonv 10y agoBack when I worked at Google, my favorite weekend activity honestly was working on open source side projects. I'm a workaholic like that. Even while working full-time on Sandstorm, on weekends I'd work on "things I want to code" rather than "things I need to code".
- AceJohnny2 10y agoBut where do you fit the LAN parties or that FF playthrough? Do you sleep?
- kentonv 10y agoLAN parties are every third Saturday. :D I usually take a week vacation when there's a new FF to play. :P
