Corporate profits are good; they mean more return to shareholders.
- xg15 10y agoShareholders, who are for the most part not workers. If living costs raise and the quality of available jobs worsens (e.g. less job security) but your wage stays the same that's objectively a loss.
- witty_username 10y agoWorkers indirectly invest in the stock market through retirement funds and other investments.
