Considering how little a Pi consumes, you might notice the electricity cost after a few years.
- rz2k 10y agoProbably 50¢/month total, 47.75¢ for the electricity[1], and 2-something cents monthly opportunity cost of $30 earning interest in a money market fund. The throughput on a Raspberry Pi isn't great though, even compared to a typical low end VPS.
