I don't agree with the notion that if the UK opens its borders it'll be flooded. They said that about the EU, and it didn't exactly pan out like that. Sure, there's immigration, but it's not like we all speak Polish. And I'm not advocating opening borders immediately - just move in that direction and relax controls a bit.
