- chatterbeak 10y agoI worked for an internet startup in 1999 that was acquired by a Big Company. There was no "family" or "ethnic" ties between anyone. I was on the technical side, but the accounting side was very corrupt. When I pointed out that the logging reports they wanted were misleading, I was told by the CFO that "there's no need to be pedantic here."
