- TeMPOraL 10y agoWhen I consider how much time, resources and effort humans have wasted on stupid / harmful shit in the name of currency, I just want to cry.
- dredmorbius 10y agoI'm leaning strongly to the view that modern "free-market capitalism" is really a variant on mercantilism, in which liquidity has replaced gold and silver. The end results are rather similar.
