Reading this article brought back memories when I was getting training to go solo skydiving. The first day was all theory and drills in the classroom. In all my years at school, university lectures, and work-related training workshops, that one day of skydiving class remains the only time in my life when I was 100% completely focussed, awake and attentive for every subject.
