Honestly that is FUD. Microsoft did ship GCC with SFU 3.5 (See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Windows_Services_for_UNIX#SFU_3.5 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Windows_Services_for_...) How do I know ? I worked on it.
- xpaulbettsx 16y agoThat was before GCC switched to GPLv3. However, the point is moot as someone else mentioned Clang, which I could see MS shipping. I did forget about SFU though, good point.
